Hi, It’s been a little while, so I thought it was time to reintroduce myself…

I’m Tui — a South Australian celebrant for 5-years now, who absolutely adores love, laughter, and being a part of life’s most magical moments.

I feel incredibly lucky to have married my high school sweetheart (and best friend), and we now have two beautiful kids who keep our days interesting, funny, and full of love.

Before stepping into the wonderful world of weddings, I spent over a decade as a commercial disputes lawyer – so I know how to keep calm under pressure and handle any curveball with grace and a smile.

Originally from Darwin, I made Adelaide my home to finish school, and I’ve never looked back.

I’ve always adored weddings – the joy, the emotion, the connection – and being part of such a meaningful moment in people’s lives still gives me goosebumps. I bring warmth, heart, and a personalised touch to every ceremony I create.

Outside of ceremonies, I’m all about creativity and adventure. I recently completed my Certificate III in Makeup (plus tanning), and I love painting, pilates reformer classes, and curling up with a romantic sci-fi novel and a glass of red or bubbles. I’m also a big fan of scary movies and am totally confident I’d survive a zombie apocalypse (probably) 😜.

You’ll often find me cheering from the sidelines of my kids sport or caddying for them while they play golf. Alternatively my family could be off camping, four-wheel driving, or fishing. I also love good food, discovering new restaurants, and sharing a laugh with my incredible friends.

Oh, and fun fact – my sister and I are both named after birds native to New Zealand!

Jackie and Tom’s wedding at the stunning Golding Wines was a celebration filled with beauty and heartfelt moments. Set against the backdrop of breathtaking gardens and surrounded by loved ones, their day reflected everything they value—love, family, and enjoying life. From a chance encounter on Christmas Eve in 2017, to raising their two beautiful boys, Sonny and Myles, this day was not the start of their story but a celebration of everything they’ve already built together and will continue to build together.

I truly loved getting to know Jackie and Tom. They were an absolute dream to work with—so warm, down-to-earth, and easy to communicate with from the very start. Whether it was our first catch-up over a glass of wine or a coffee at a local café, every conversation was a reminder of why I love what I do: hearing their story, celebrating their unique journey, and forming beautiful connections along the way.

And as an added bonus, I also had the chance to work alongside an old school friend, their incredibly talented photographer Evan Bailey.

With the sun shining over rolling hills and lush vineyards, guests welcomed by the soothing acoustic sounds of James from @netherbymusic creating the perfect setting for Paige and Michael to promise forever. The ceremony began with a moment that took everyone’s breath away—the page boy, bridesmaids, and finally Paige, walking arm-in-arm with her dad through the vines. A calm, joyful hush fell over the crowd as she made her way toward Michael.

Together, Paige and Michael radiate something truly special. They’re the kind of couple who find joy in life’s simple moments—painting their first home, dancing in the lounge room, sharing wine and laughter. There’s a strength to their love, built on friendship, trust, and a healthy dose of cheeky humour.

Their story began six years ago with a bold Instagram follow from Paige and a date at the Goody, where conversation flowed and nerves quickly gave way to their gorgeous connection. From that night to a proposal on the sands of Port Willunga, their journey has been full of warmth, adventure, and a whole lot of love.

On a breathtaking day @thelanevineyard, Maricar and Michael stood together, surrounded by family and friends, ready to celebrate their love. Despite the heat of the day, the shaded grassy area of this winery provided the perfect setting, overlooking the stunning rolling vineyards. And of course it was made even more perfect with @himandhermusic playing in the background.

Maricar and Michael’s love story began in 2015, while Michael was traveling through Dubai. Over mojitos and hot chips their connection was instant. Not even a couple of years of long distance could keep them apart. Their love spanned continents, until Maricar made the life-changing decision to move from Dubai to Adelaide to be with Michael. In 2020, on a quiet Port Douglas beach at sunset, Michael proposed, sealing what felt destined from the start.

Their ceremony was heartfelt and beautiful, but the most unforgettable moment came from their two-year-old son, Lucas. As Maricar walked down the aisle, he ran to her—not for the expected embrace, but to lift and carry her veil, melting every heart.

For Maricar and Michael, marriage is about love, family, and a lifetime of shared memories. With their two sons, Lucas and Henry, they look forward to a future filled with laughter and milestones.

Wow, What an unforgettable wedding! From start to finish, it was a perfect blend of elegance, natural beauty, and pure magic.

Tom and Shelly’s wedding was truly special for me—not just because it was a beautiful celebration, but because Tom is also my cousin, and I had the joy of getting to know Shelly through the months leading up. I’ll admit, for the first time in a while, I was a little nervous standing before so much family, but with the overwhelming love in the air, the day could not have been more perfect.

Tom and Shelly’s love story began with a chance meeting in Baltimore and led to a mid-mountain proposal in Vermont. Tom was travelling the U.S. seeking adventure but found the greatest one of all when he met his Shelly.

From their heartfelt vows to the pure joy of their bridal party, every moment of their wedding was filled with love. A particularly touching highlight was when both their mums did a reading— which was such a beautiful touch. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of @whitehillestate, the day was nothing short of magical. This was of course complimented by the incredible flower arrangements by @oliveandmae.stems -just stunning.

Tom and Shelly are the perfect match, complementing each other in every way. Their shared love for music and dancing, their strong family bonds, and their deep connection to nature are reflected in everything they do. Together, they create a beautiful balance, bringing warmth, joy, and an undeniable energy to every moment they share.

The most incredible wedding and a wedding I feel very very privileged to have been the celebrant for.

Having known Hanna’s beautiful family for some time, it is an understatement to say I was crazy excited when they reached out to me to be considered for this wedding.

Hanna and Nick met after both completing their law degrees and starting as associates in the District Court Judges Associate’s Office. I think it’s fair to say that their affection for each other was instant, and with many unofficial (and discreet) work coffee/ lunch dates their relationship blossomed.

Hanna and Nick are a couple that will light up any room they walk into, they bounce off each other, they are affectionate and intelligent, they love a laugh and are a couple you cannot help but fall in love with and want to be friends with.

Well as far as wedding ceremonies go, they don’t get much better than this one. This was one of those weddings where everything from start to finish, from first meeting to script preparations, from rehearsal to ceremony was absolutely perfect. The weather was gorgeous, Longview Winery was as stunning as always, the smiles from friends and family was contagious and my couple Nikki and Hayden were so incredible.

I had the privilege of co-hosting Isabel and Rupert’s ceremony with their best friend Roberto, who for the record is so nice and someone you know you can instantly become friends with as soon as you meet them. Roberto was an absolute natural and the personalised stories he put together about Isabel and Rupert really gave the whole ceremony that personalised touch from someone who had known them a long time.

It honestly was such a gorgeous wedding for a gorgeous couple and of course the Partridge House gardens in December could not have been more divine for their perfect day.

A perfectly styled secret elopement with family and friends on the beautiful coast of Carrickalinga.

Wow, just wow, this wedding was my final wedding for the year and what an incredible and stunning wedding to finish on. The weather was perfect, the wind calmed for the ceremony and the sun came out for the perfect photos.

Tess and Nick are the most beautiful couple, so smitten with each other, so supportive of each other and so excited to start the next chapter of their lives together as Mr and Mrs. Getting to marry this gorgeous couple in front of their closest friends and family was so much fun and just another reminder of why I became a celebrant and love what I do.

Secret Elopement in the Barossa, absolutely I was in.

Shannon and Joel hired out Hewitson Winery as their venue for the weekend and oh my goodness this venue is so breathtaking. The ceremony overlooks its vineyards and with greenery and a pop of red everywhere it is stunning.

Working along side Shannon and Joel’s incredible photographer and videographer, James and Kirsty from House of Love @houseoflove.adl I knew from the moment Shannon and Joel contacted me that this wedding was going to be captured to perfection.

Shannon and Joel said their “I do” in front of 18 of their closest friends and family and although their cat pumpkin was not allowed to make an appearance, the whole ceremony was perfect. The weather turned it on, the venue incredible, family and friends sharing laughter and love, Joel calm and collected and Shannon, wow, she looked like a movie star, just divine.

Rain, hail or shine, nothing was going to wipe the smiles from this beautiful couple on their wedding day. Bonus points to the sunshine for turning up a couple of minutes before their ceremony and making the afternoon just absolutely perfect.

Ceremony venue is one of my favourites, Simon Hackett Winery and was stunning and picturesque as always.

Emily and Jarryd’s story consists of sharing wine at the beach, making home made pad thai, purchasing their first home together and secretly planned romantic weekend getaways to the Barossa. They are absolutely gorgeous together and from the moment you meet them it is obvious how smitten they are for each other and why they are clearly drawn to one another.

Just Wow… I do not have enough words to describe just how stunningly gorgeous this beautiful couple are, and this is before mentioning their insanely remarkable wedding venue and the small details that went into planning this magical wedding.

Lauren, Tom and I planned their entire ceremony over zoom, yet the connection I felt with this gorgeous couple from the very beginning was extraordinary. Our first face to face meeting was at their rehearsal and it was like catching up with old friends that I had not actually met in person.

Lauren and Tom’s story sounds like the start of a fictional romance book which involves a broken down car, a stranded Lauren and Tom stepping in to help from a neighbouring property. Their relationship blossomed from there and what is abundantly clear is that they are perfect for each other and compliment the other in every way.

Lauren and Tom are such a chilled, down to earth couple, which combined with Lauren’s organisational skills, planning their ceremony was a dream and an honour to be a part of.

The ceremony and reception was in the Clare Valley at the insanely picturesque grounds of Hughes Park and oh my goodness these grounds for a wedding venue are ridiculous and absolutely out of this world stunning.

Huge thank you again to Lauren and Tom for having me as your celebrant, it was so much fun, love a destination wedding and wish you both an amazing honeymoon. Sending love always, Tui.

What an incredibly beautiful and awesome couple to get to know, plus I had the added bonus of golden retriever puppy cuddles at our first catch up🐾 🥰.

Paige and Zeke were destined to meet, starting their journey in a country themed pub, where Paige was unable to resist Zeke’s dance moves 😜. This amazing and easygoing couple have not only brought laughter and joy to each other lives over the last 7-years, but they are obviously completely smitten with one another, which explains the very romantic and perfectly planned and captured beach proposal by Zeke.

Both their ceremony and reception were held at Brin Farm and I can honestly say if you are still on the venue look out, this wedding venue is absolutely exceptional, especially when you have Jess from Venyu as your event planner as Paige and Zeke did.

With a perfect 28 degree day, a pop of colour everywhere supplied by The Rose and Radish and the outstandingly talented Ash and Joseph Acoustic Duo playing in the background, the day could not have been more perfect.

Easily one of the most adorable couples I’ve ever met, both so relaxed and easy to get along with, they compliment each other in every way and I truly feel very fortunate to have been a part of their special day.

Jordan and Nathan met after a push in the right direction from Jordan’s twin sister Erin and from the day they met, with nerves flying high and Nathan turning up with chocolates, they have been each other’s listening ear and greatest support.

The ceremony reflected just how beautiful these two are and was set in the stunning grounds of Sfera’s Park Suites and Convention Centre.

My last wedding for 2022 and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

Kristy and Justin had their gorgeous ceremony under the beautiful elm tree at Partridge House and it was just breathtaking.

The afternoon started with an overload of cuteness with Kristy and Justin’s daughter leading the wedding entrance.

The ceremony then reflected just how incredible Kristy and Justin’s gorgeous family of four are and celebrated not only Kristy and Justin’s devotion to each other but also their love for their children.

Kristy and Justin were so relaxed and easy going from the very beginning and I felt very honoured to have been a part of their day and to have their ceremony as my last wedding for the year.

Perfection and class is how I would describe this ceremony, with a white and black theme, the groom in a bow tie and the bride exuding elegance, the ceremony was absolutely stunning.

I felt very privileged to have been a celebrant at this wedding as I met the beautiful Elle by coincidence in early 2021, not long after her and Alex had been engaged and started planning their wedding day.

But as we all know, sometimes when a pandemic gets going best laid plans can go astray. So their wedding date was put on hold until 2022. In the meantime Elle and Alex truly thrived as a couple, throwing themselves into fitness, purchasing their first home, embracing renovating and adopting a couple of greyhounds.

Elle and Alex are so caring and warm and I can honestly say that I absolutely loved getting to know them both and be a part of their wedding day.

Such a chilled and relaxed couple to marry. From the moment Abbie and Jamie contacted me, I knew we would get along and of course as soon as I found out that their wedding was at one of my favourite venues, Partridge House (which is my local) I was instantly excited to be their celebrant.

Epic, Elegant and Extraordinarily Impressive is how I would describe this wedding.
Tarsh and Bernie had thought of everything in order to turn their day into the most magical event ever.
The weather was perfect and no detail was left unattended, there was champagne on arrival, the flowers, setup and signage were all out of this world, the bridal party looked immaculate and that is even before I describe the venue and the beautiful couple.
The venue, The Little White Chapel in Prospect Hill was built by the bride’s grandpa at the age of 80 especially for the bride’s day, and I can tell you now that it is breathtaking. Built on the family farm and surrounded by greenery, this chapel and new wedding venue is phenomenal.
As for my beautiful couple, which I just adore, they contacted me only a few months out from their wedding and from the moment I spoke with them, I fell in love with everything about them, their love story for one, the bride’s infectious bubbly personality and the groom’s smitten and heartfelt words about his soon to be bride.
The ceremony had a beautiful relaxed feel, with plenty of laughs and a true reflection of how loved this gorgeous couple are by their friends and family.

Simon Hackett Winery was breathtakingly spectacular and I can honestly say it was a pure joy to marry these two last Friday at this beautiful venue.

What an incredible way to start the week, with love on the June long weekend.

It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know Ashton and Mitchell over the last year to plan their dream ceremony.

Ashton and Mitchell are honestly an absolute joy to be around, which is why it is not surprising that while they were both studying an allied health degree in 2014, that they were destined to meet, and become the other half in each other’s lives.

They have now shared their lives together for the last 8 years and from our encounters, what is quite apparent, is the huge amount of support and love that they have not only for each other, but their surrounding families and friends.

Well, what to say about the stunning Kay and Craig? It is certainly not hard to imagine how their first date 7-years ago in a beautiful 16th century hall nestled in the Cheshire countryside in Northwest England, quickly developed into the incredible friendship filled with the love, support, strength and laughter that they have for each other today.

Kay and Craig’s ceremony was held in the picturesque gardens of Partridge House, Glenelg and from what Kay and Craig have told me, their day could not have been more perfect.

Unfortunately, this day had other plans for myself, and I cannot thank Kay and Craig enough for how incredibly understanding and accomodating they were when I had to tell them 4-days out from their wedding that I was a covid-19 close contact and now in isolation with my family.

Thankfully, with the help of the inspirational @karenlynch_celebrant , who saved the day and stepped in to take over as celebrant, the ceremony was able to proceed exactly as planned.

I again wish to thank Kay and Craig for being so incredible and relaxed. I truly loved planning their ceremony and although I was saddened to not be able to deliver the ceremony on the day, I knew they were in good hands and that the ceremony would be everything Kay and Craig imagined.

What an incredible date to get married and the weather certainly turned it on for a perfect beach wedding, 28 degrees with the sun out, it doesn’t get much better.

Darryn and Jasmine have been each others best friends for 16 years, with four gorgeous children. Their beach elopement was the perfect way to not only confirm their commitment to each other but to unite their family bond.

What a whirlwind of wedding planning it was for these two.

Kylie and Daniel were such an incredible couple to get to know.
Not only did they have to deal with postponements of their wedding due to Covid restrictions, but also last minute venue changes due to thunderstorms.

I can honestly say that Kylie and Daniel were one of the most laid back couples I have had the privilege of working with. They took everything in their stride, never seemed to upset with life’s hiccups and most importantly they took on all their hurdles as a couple.
