Hi, I’m Tui — a South Australian marriage celebrant with a heart full of love, an eye for detail, and a passion for making wedding ceremonies meaningful, memorable, and totally you.

 

Since becoming a marriage celebrant in 2020, I’ve had the absolute joy of celebrating love in all its forms – from sweet and simple elopements to full-scale celebrations. I absolutely adore being part of these once-in-a-lifetime moments. There’s nothing quite like the magic of a wedding – the emotion, the laughter, the connection – and it still gives me goosebumps on every occasion.

 

I feel incredibly lucky to have married my high school sweetheart (and best friend), and we now have two beautiful children who keep our days full of fun, chaos, and love. Originally from Darwin, I moved to Adelaide to finish high school and never looked back – now I get to call this beautiful part of the world home.

 

Before becoming a celebrant, I worked for over a decade as a commercial disputes lawyer – which means I bring a calm, professional, and detail-focused approach to every ceremony, along with a big dose of heart and creativity.

 

When I’m not officiating weddings, you’ll find me getting creative – whether it’s painting, testing out new makeup looks (I recently completed my Certificate III in Makeup), or curling up with a romantic sci-fi novel and a glass of red or bubbles. I also love a good scary movie and I am pretty  sure I’d survive a zombie apocalypse… probably 😜.

 

Weekends often include cheering on my kids at sports, caddying for their golf games, or heading off camping, four-wheel driving, or fishing with my family. I’m also a big foodie – I love trying new restaurants, or sharing a good laugh with friends over a great meal, and luckily for me, my husband is also an incredible cook. 

 

And a little fun fact about me - both my sister and I are named after birds native to New Zealand.
